Today's the day! Starting from August 1st, Taiwan officially implements an expanded plastic tableware restriction policy, prohibiting the provision of disposable plastic and non-reusable tableware (including biodegradable plastic tableware) at various venues. What are the alternative options available for these establishments?

With immediate effect, Taiwan's plastic reduction policy is once again upgraded. Government agencies, public and private schools, department stores, shopping centers, hypermarkets, supermarkets, chain convenience stores, and fast-food chains with physical premises are prohibited from providing disposable plastic tableware. This revision expands the conditions, encompassing the prohibition of PLA biodegradable material tableware as well.
